To those who know Betty Everingham, who took ill at barrie Speedway on Sunday. Well just got an email Tuesday night. She just got out of Barrie Hospital Tuedays feeling much better and thanks all those who was thinking about her . Clean bill of health.

Thanks for a great and awesome season. We just wanted to thank everyone who helped us out to do clean up. As of November, Anne and I will be waiting for our first child to arrive. So that means that next year we won't be doing clean up, but we will be in the stands cheering you on.
Thanks again to whoever helped us out with grabing a broom or speedy dry. It sure helped us out when we needed it. Take care and have a safe winter and we'll see you at the banquet or we will see you next year in the stands.

It was nice to see the cars that came out. its been a great year i had some great times, meet some great people. I hope my race season (the winter) will be good for me, so I can come back next year. I hope that the drivers, staff and Glen were happy with the service aswell as the fans. I try to put on a show, of some sort. We originally approached Flamboro to run this car but it seems they don't consider a Ford Thunderbird with fuel injection and IRS to be legal. The "far more open-minded" folks at Sunset welcomed this car and it's unlikely we'll be at many other tracks. Certainly not Flamboro unless they open their eyes a little bit.

Why dont you go out to Flamboro to race? Its right around the corner from Burlington. Come on out for Oct. Fest your first time out in like 25 years ? please

Congrats Arie on a great winning streak. We've only known you for a short period of time but you're a good guy and you've worked hard on your car and you can wheel it!! We were happy to see you take the checkered on Sunday, you drove a great race and that re-start was perfect. Have a good winter, but don't find anymore speed OK? You're fast enough as it is!! Now that our season is over, I just want pass on a few things.
Rob, I didn't get a chance to tell you yesterday but I have been approached by several people complimenting you on the job you did. A little quick with the yellow on occasion, but good show.
To the drivers, well done. There were some nights I left the track with elevated Blood Pressure, but in retrospect we are all human. The calss of drivers is above the norm. Well done.
To the fans who came regardless of the weather. Thanks, next year bring some friends.
Finally to the staff. Bev and I came to the track as total strangers and we felt at home. We have a good crew and I really enjoyed it. Glenn and Fred know how to do the job and are a great help. Thanks.
