Sunset Speedway boasts some of the fastest, most competitive racing in Ontario - only 45 minutes north of Toronto. With 13 degrees of banking in the corners and wide straightaways, side by side racing is very common in all classes. 3 types of race cars run here on a weekly basis: Limited Late Models (high power, hand built sheet metal, aluminum or fibreglass bodied stock cars), Thunder Cars (full stock body with limited motor mods) and 4 Cylinders (strict rules - strictly stock). Many special shows are scheduled throughout the year, including OSCAAR Super Late Models, ALSTAR Super Series Late Models, TQ Can Am Midgets, Legends and Vintage Modifieds. Depending on the class, some of these cars can reach in excess of 95 miles per hour on the straightaways. One of Sunset's greatest features is its high grandstands, including a newer one between turns 3 and 4. There are many excellent vantage points situated from turn 3 around to turn 1, with little glare from the catch fence. Lawn chair seating is also available through turns 3 & 4 as well. Full featured concession stands and washrooms are located near the start/finish line, as well as pitside. |

LOCATION: Located on the west side of Highway 11 (marked "4" on the map to the right), between Innisfil lines 6 and 7. FROM THE SOUTH: Travel up Highway 400 northbound to Highway 89 (Cookstown) exit. Turn right and travel east to Highway 11. Turn left and travel north - the track is to your left just past line 6. FROM THE NORTH: Travel down Highway 400 southbound past Barrie to Innisfil Beach Road exit. Turn left and travel east to Highway 11. Turn right and travel south - the track is to your right at the top of the hill past line 7. ALTERNATE ROUTE FROM BARRIE: Take Yonge Street out of Barrie. This road turns into Highway 11 - travel past Stroud, Innisfil Beach/Barclay. The track is to your right at the top of the hill past line 7.

Alcohol Sunset Speedway is a family oriented facility, and as such prohibits alcohol comsumption or possession on the track property. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone bringing alcoholic products into the speedway. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. |
| Rain
Checks If there is the potential for rain, Rain Check Tickets will be handed out. If less than 6 races are completed before the evening is officially cancelled, the Rain Check will be valid for admission to the FOLLOWING WEEK ONLY. The remainder of incomplete races will typically be run on that night together with the scheduled show. Check with the website for up-to-the-minute details regarding schedule changes or additions. |
