INNISFIL, ON – With the start of the season right around the corner, Sunset Speedway is proud to annouce the purse fund for the 2023 Season with the addition of Seaton Structures NASCAR Modifieds and the URDD designated driver service NASCAR Hot Rods to their regular schedule this coming season. It’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated seasons in the past decade.
With the support of their sponsors, Sunset Speedway Promoters Brian and Sandra Todish are excited to begin a robust season filled with action packed weekends. With the annoucement of the “choose cone rule” on March 21st, the Seaton Structures NASCAR Modifieds division competition will be fierce. Althought this rule is strictly for the Modifieds division, there is a possibility that other classes may see this rule introduced in 2024 if the fans and drivers deem it successful in the 2023 season.
King of the Hill, a fan favourite, will also be returning to Sunset Speedway this coming season. Spectators will be wanting to turn laps in their street cars during intermission on select nights.
Whether it’s the GD Coates NASCAR Pro Late Models, Seaton Structures NASCAR Modifieds or any of the other multitude of classes hitting the pavement this year, Sunset Speedway is the place to be in 2023.
