Johnny Paradzinski Chasing Checkereds in 2023

CHESLEY, ON – While his ‘fulltime’ commitments most weekends will come in the form of Suspension Engineer for Josh Stade’s Pro Late Model outfit, longtime Mini Stock competitor Johnny Paradzinski plans on several appearances at Sunset Speedway on his off-nights.
“Our Pro Late Model schedule right now is 19 races at tracks all over the province,” explains Paradzinski. “My goal is to be in my car on every off-night possible. Right now, that gives us a 10-race season, with most of our events scheduled for Sunset”
Paradzinski has been a semi-regular fixture on the Sunset roster, first with the short-lived MIGHTY Division before quickly transitioning into the Mini Stock roster. Nowadays, the Chesley, ON native spends most of his time on the opposite side of the catch fence with Stade Motorsports.
“Joining Stade Motorsports has helped my knowledge and experience grow immensely,” says the first-generation racer. “I’m forever grateful for the opportunity, because everything I’ve learned working on Josh’s Late Models has helped my Mini Stock racing”
“From week to week maintenance to raceday setup, I just have a far better understanding of what works and what doesn’t now. Being around Josh and other drivers of his caliber is like going to College as far as getting around tracks in Ontario. I’m just forever listening to the best way to do things”
And, while his very busy schedule will keep him from contending for a Sunset Speedway championship, Paradzinski is confident in his abilities to race for wins when his No. 4 unloads in the pit area.
“I’d like to think I’m in the top-10 of anyone in the (Mini Stock) division province-wide,” offers Paradzinski. “Between our schedule with Josh and the limited backing I have right now, a full-season isn’t do-able. But, we’ll be putting everything we have into those nights we’re at Sunset.”
